Welcome! 

I'm Em, an illustrator based in Tasmania, Australia. 

I have always loved drawing and creating. 

While studying, art became my creative outlet. Around every uni assignment or exam I would take time out to relax with my pens and watercolours - trips for art supplies didn't hurt either!

After putting an original piece in a local art exhibition last year I had many people asking if prints were available to purchase. 

Thus Em In Ink came to be! Since then I have been dedicated to creating and developing the Em In Ink you see today! - Original, stylish, high quality pieces designed to live comfortably within the modern home. 

My work is characterised by colour and detail - I enjoy the creativity and intricacy of fine line work, and the freedom and personality that colour can inject into a piece. I love to capture aspects of nature and life - with occasional glimpses of the 'surreal' thrown in!
